Advent calendar
Christmas time is approaching and with it Advent. Would you like to have an original Advent calendar at home? Then here's a wonderful tutorial for a paper one :)
What you need:
- Artmagico acrylic paints
- Hard paper - we recommend acrylic paper with high weight
- Artmagico acrylic markers
- String
- Adhesive tape
- Tacks, buttons, tacks, whatever you use to attach the raffle
- Scissors
- Compass
You can take this picture only as an inspiration if you don't know what Advent motif to choose - you can choose snowman, penguin, various animals with a ball and scarf, but the motif should be rather round :) Paint the chosen motif on hard paper. It is entirely up to you whether you paint with markers only or choose a combination of markers and colours.
Once the motif is finished, draw a circle on your belly with a compass. A faint line is sufficient, as it will only serve for greater accuracy when dividing the digits. On the circle write the numbers from 1 to 24. Try drawing in pencil before tracing around with an acrylic marker. After the circle dries, erase the circle slightly and only what you want will remain on the picture :)
Cut out the elf and stick an arrow (pointer) in the middle, which you can make from the leftover paper you cut from the elf. You can attach the arrow with a thumbtack, a button or a stud. In our case we used old earrings.
Glue the string to the back and you have a beautiful advent calendar ready :)
About the author of the article:
My name is Marie Skoková. When I found a painted pebble on the street one day, I was tempted to try it too, so I started painting at night. I went back to what I had enjoyed all my childhood but had somehow forgotten during my life. Painting for me is a great relaxation, rest and most of all joy.
