How to fix acrylic paint on eggs
How to use acrylic paint or marker on eggs?
Acrylic paints and markers are suitable for use on eggshells. Do not use on raw or cooked eggs! Colored inks, although non-toxic, are not intended for consumption. The shell is a porous natural material and the colour will pass through the shell. Acrylic paint is not a food coloring and is not edible.
Fixation
Eggshell, due to its porosity, does not need to be fixed. If you would like, you can fix it with a water-based acrylic clear varnish, depending on the desired result (glossy/matt).
