How to fix acrylic paints on stone
How to use acrylic paint or marker on stone?
The stone must be properly degreased before use: washed in spring water or wiped with rubbing alcohol and dried.
Fixation
After the paint has completely dried, ideally overnight, we recommend fixing the stones with a colourless water-based acrylic varnish, either in spray form or with a brush. Another fixing option is to pour resin over the stone, giving it a beautiful glossy appearance. This technique is only suitable for completely flat stones (due to the resin running off).
